How to write a Japanese resume (rirekisho)
In Japan you do not write a free-form CV: you fill in the rirekisho (履歴書), a standard grid form. An ID photo (4 × 3 cm) is expected and your history is listed year by year. Experienced candidates also attach a shokumu keirekisho (職務経歴書) detailing their work.
