Classic CV template
The CV in its most traditional form: a centred serif name, a small-caps job title, thin rules between sections and dates aligned on the right. Nothing pulls attention away from what you’ve written.

What makes it different
- A single column of text, which applicant tracking systems (ATS) read without trouble.
- Skills, languages and interests fit into a few compact lines at the end, leaving room for experience.
- Black is the default, with five other very discreet shades for headings.
Who it suits
Applications to large employers, the public sector, banking, law or education, and to English-speaking markets where understated is the norm.
Where it works best
You can use it anywhere, but it’s a particularly good fit for CVs aimed at:
- United States and Canada
- United Kingdom and Ireland
- India and South Asia
- English-speaking Africa
- Netherlands and the Nordics
- France and French-speaking countries
How it works
- Open the template and choose the country you’re applying in. Paper size and sections adjust automatically.
- Fill in the fields. The preview updates as you type.
- Try another colour or template if you like, then download your CV as a PDF.
